|Caitlin Parker is a Hudson Valley based multidisciplinary artist whose work investigates the transformation of landscapes, literal and psychological. She earned a BA in painting from the Slade School of Fine Art in London and MFA from Milton Avery School of the Arts, Bard College. Her work has been exhibited at the Wurttembergischer Kunstverein, Stuttgart, Germany; The Centre for Contemporary Art and the Natural World, Exeter UK, and the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art, SUNY New Paltz. She's the recipient of a Jerome Foundation Travel and Study Grant and a residency at Drop Forge & Tool in Hudson NY. Her work is expressed through a variety of media including sculpture, video, painting, drawing, printing methods and sewing. Her current work involves printing with pressed plants and experimentation with natural dyes and textiles.|
