Carlos Rodrigues
Carlos Rodrigues Carlos Rodrigues is currently completing Ph.D.studies at the City University of New York. He is interested in the evolution, systematics, and biogeography of the genus Schefflera (Araliaceae), which is a diverse and complicated group of tropical shrubs and trees. Carlos has previously worked as a Herbarium Renovation Technician at Grahal in Paris, France where he was responsible for mounting cryptogamic specimens and sorting angiosperm specimens in their appropriate family. He also was involved in a short research project at the Museum national d'Histoire naturelle in Paris, applying IUCN Red List assessments on 27 species of the Melanesian Schefflera Clade (Araliaceae), and also building the Araliaceae Project on Tropicos.
