Elaine Searle holds a BA in Visual Communication. After a long career as a designer, she retrained, and in 2005 graduated with a diploma in Botanical Illustration from The English Gardening School, Chelsea, London. She has received numerous awards from organizations such as the RHS and the ASBA, and her work is featured in The Hunt Institute's permanent collection. Elaine's passion for teaching, inspired by her mentor Anne Marie Evans, has led her to offer workshops and courses throughout North America, the UK, and Europe, and in 2016 she will come full circle to become Course Director of the Diploma Course at Chelsea School of Botanical Art.
