Roses in Color - 164BIL352
Create a lifelike rose painting or drawing by combining field sketching with in-class instruction in this rose study with highly decorated botanical artist Carol Woodin. Roses from the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden will be brought into the classroom for you to render a rose of your choice in graphite and make color notes. Learn the dry brush technique, work in colored pencil, or continue in graphite. Students are encouraged to visit the Rose Garden after class. Please bring lunch.
