Drawing from Pressed Plants - 173BIL310
Working with pressed plant specimens from Garden scientist Daniel Atha's botany class, students will learn two standard ways to create accurate,informative, and aesthetically pleasing scientific illustrations which include tracing and drawing from observation to make the plant look 3-dimensional. Microscope studies will be used to capture details. Work will be done in pencil and finished in pen and ink.
Prerequisite: Pen and Ink I
